  With my mother being a patient here and having to come in every 2 days or sometimes everyday, I have gotten to know this place alot. Let's start with the dialysis unit. In the early morning my mom rushes to the hospital so that she can be the first to be 'hooked up'. Instead she has to wait an hour because she is 'more complicated to hook up ' however, doesn't it make more sense for her to be hooked on first? That way she will be out of the way and because she has to be on for longer than the others, she can have more time with me at home. The nurses run round like a confused cat. They don't have order and honestly argue every day. Seriously there is more 'beef' in this hospital than what meets the eye since they r too afraid to bring up complaints. I know this because one of my family members works with the fieling the information that the doctors report. They said that they don't know who to trust and they can't communicate properly. Sometimes my mom has to get her blood taken. I have had to go for myself a few times and honestly I was not impressed. The que is too large sometime and I have had to wait for 2 hours just to get mine done. You get number when you walk in. Some people trade their number to the pregnant and the elderly but this is just unacceptable. I picked up number '43' I think and they just called number '7'. Again not impressed. One of my family members went into a diabetic coma because when she was in surgery they forgot to mention this in the notes! Anyway that is my experience. I hope that yours is much better.
